23-Hydroxybetulinic Acid: A Pentacyclic Triterpene with Anti-Tumor Activities
23-Hydroxybetulinic acid (23-HBA) is a pentacyclic triterpene is the major active constituent of Pulsatilla chinensis (Bunge) Regel used as an anti-inflammatory agent in traditional Chinese medicine. It has been reported that 23-HBA and its derivatives show a cytotoxic effect on multiple cancer cell lines. (The product is for research purpose only.)
