Purmorphamine is a Hedgehog (Hh) pathway agonist as it acts on Smoothened (Smo) receptors. It has osteogenesis inducing activity in multipotent progenitor cells.1) It acts as an inducer of bone formation and osteogenic differentiation of stem cells.2,3) Recently, purmorphamine has been reported for its neuroprotective effects.4,5) (The product is for research use only.)
