[Amino acids] 1)
5 mg of an amino acid is dissolved in 50% (V/V) aqueous acetonitrile containing 0.4% (W/V) triethylamine in order to give a final volume of 10 mL. To 50 µL of this solution 50 µL of 0.2% (W/V) labeling reagent 1 in acetonitrile are added. The resulting mixture is shaken at room temperature for 30 min and used as an HPLC sample.
