Functional Ingredient in Citrus depressa

A polyphenol, Nobiletin, is one of ingredients in citrus fruits like Citrus depressa. Nobiletin has been reported to have many biological activities: i.e. anti-tumor-promotion activity^1,2), inhibition of oxidative stress²⁾, inhibition of skin inflammation²⁾, and anti-dementia activity³⁾, and thus it has been attracting attention as a functional natural compound.
