Tectorigenin, an isoflavonoid, is an active component of the traditional medicine isolated from Belamcanda chinensis or Iris domestica, etc.1) Tectorigenin has been reported to show various pharmacological activities, including antitumor2-4), antifungal5), antioxidant6), anti-inflammatory7,8), and selective estrogen receptor modulation activities9).
