Application
PD173074: A Selective VEGFR and FGFR Inhibitor
PD173074 is a selective vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) inhibitor, and also a selective fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) inhibitor. VEGF is a signalling protein that induces angiogenesis and endothelial cell proliferation and it plays an important role in regulating vasculogenesis. FGF is a carrier protein that regulates important biological processes including cell proliferation and differentiation during development and tissue repair. The human FGFR reportedly comprises of four family members, FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Recently, the anti-tumor activities of PD173074, targeted neoangiogenesis and mitogenesis, have been reported. (The product is for research purpose only.)
