Application
Prilocaine hydrochloride: An Amino Amide Type Local Anesthetic Agent
Prilocaine hydrochloride, an amino amide type local anesthetic agent, is a relatively safe and efficient local anesthetic compared to lidocaine [L0156]. Separately, prilocaine (free base) and lidocaine are solid bases, but a eutectic mixture of them is an oil at room temperature. Thus, the eutectic mixture of prilocaine (free base) and lidocaine cream is often used for local anesthetic agent. (The product is for research purpose only.)
