Application
Hydralazine Hydrochloride: A Vasodilator in Arterioles
Although the precise mechanism of action is not fully under-stood, hydralazine hydrochloride exerts its peripheral vasodilating effect through a direct relaxation of smooth muscle tissue in vascular resistance vessels, predominantly in the arterioles, and resulting in decreased blood pressure. Recently, the property of hydralazine has been reported, such as a DNA methylation inhibitor, an antioxidant and etc. (The product is for research purpose only.)
