Application
Bentazon: A Photosynthesis-Inhibiting Selective Herbicide
Bentazon is a selective herbicide belonging to the thiadiazine group, and acts by interference in photosynthesis in plants. Bentazon is only effective against species not able to metabolize bentazon, such as Cyperus serotinus, Sagittaria pygmaea, Sagittaria trifolia, Eleocharis kuroguwai, Leersia oryzoides, and bulrush. Bentazon is a widely used in rice agroecosystems that has commonly been found in water resources. (The product is for research purpose only.)
