SB 216763 (1) is a potent and selective cell permeable glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) inhibitor.¹⁾ The inhibitory mechanism is ATP-competitive. The Ki and IC₅₀ of 1 to GSK-3α are 9.10 nM and 34.3 nM, respectively.
1 can maintain mESCs in a pluripotent state in the absence of exogenous leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) when cultured on mouse embryonic fibrobrasts (MEFs).²⁾ 1 promotes the generation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in aorta-gonad-mesonephros (AGM) explants.³⁾ This product is for research purpose only.
