CCG-1423 (1) is an inhibitor of Rho signaling.1) The target molecule is myocardin-related transcription factor A (MRTF-A).2) 1 inhibits MRTF-A binding to importin α/β1.
Mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) are differentiated to BMP-7-positive cells by treatment in combination with 1 and a PI3K inhibitor, LY294002.3) The combination of these small molecules is also used for differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to renal progenitors.4)
