Guanidinylation

1-Amidinopyrazole hydrochloride (1) reacts with primary and secondary amines to yield the corresponding guanidines.¹⁾ Moreover, the N-Boc/Ts-protected guanidine 3 can be also obtained using the corresponding N-Boc/Ts-protected derivative 2.²⁾ It is also reported that a solid phase guanidinylation can be performed using cellulose-suported guanidine compound 4.³⁾
