Triclopyr: A Synthetic Auxin-Inhibitor Herbicide
Triclopyr ([(3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridynyl) oxy] acetic acid; 3,5,6-TPA) is a synthetic auxin-inhibitor herbicide that is rapidly absorbed by the foliage and roots of plants. It affects actively growing plants by inhibiting a specific type of plant growth hormone, known as an auxin. It causes uncontrolled plant growth and plant death. (The product is for research purpose only.)
