Application
Trifluoroacetylating Reagent for GC Derivatization

Experimental procedure: A sample (1-5 mg) is dissolved in solvent such as acetone or dichloromethane (0.5 mL), and trifluoroacetic anhydride (200 μL) is added. The mixture is allowed to react for 20-30 min at room temperature (or heated to 40 °C if necessary). After removing excess reagent and solvent by N2-blowing, the residue is dissolved in acetone or other solvents to be used as a GC sample.
