Metalaxyl: An Inhibitor of Protein Synthesis in Fungi
Metalaxyl is an acylalanine fungicide that inhibits protein synthesis in fungi by inhibition of uridine incorporation into RNA and specific inhibition of RNA polymerase-1. Metalaxyl is used to control plant diseases caused by Oomycetes fungi. (The product is for research purpose only.)
