Glufosinate ammonium, a phosphinic acid analogue of glutamic acid, is an herbicide which acts in plants by inhibition of glutamine synthetase, and blocks biosynthesis of glutamine and brakes down of ammonia metabolism. (The product is for research purpose only.)
