Some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) have restrictions of contents in products because of their carcinogenicity. For example, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) in EU regulates 8 PAH compounds,1) and GS Mark certification in Germany requires testing of 15 PAHs.2) In addition, 16 PAHs are covered by the U. S. EPA for analysis of industrial discharges.3) In our catalog, TCI offers high purity PAHs that can be used for both product analysis and environmental analysis.
