3,3',5,5'-Tetraiodothyroacetic Acid: A Thyroid Hormone Analogue with Anti-Angiogenesis and Anti-Tumor Growth Effects
3,3',5,5'-Tetraiodothyroacetic acid is a thyroid hormone (L-thyroxine [T0245]) analogue. It is reported that 3,3',5,5'-tetraiodothyroacetic acid acts at a cell surface receptor to block angiogenic and tumor cell proliferation action of thyroid hormones, which have been recently shown to induce tumor growth and angiogenesis. (The product is for research purpose only.)
