Toepassing
「CD4ミミック」と呼ばれている小分子HIV-1侵入阻害剤，NBD-556
It has been reported that NBD-556 is a class of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) entry inhibitors. NBD-556 binds HIV-1 surface glycoprotein gp120 and induces conformational changes which mimic those caused by cellular receptor CD4 binding. Thus, NBD-556 blocks the interaction between HIV-1 gp120 and its CD4. NBD-556 has unfavorable cytotoxic effects for use as drug, and its analogs have been developing.
