Argatroban: A Direct Thrombin Inhibitor Act as an Anticoagulant
Argatroban is a synthetic selective thrombin inhibitor. It is known that argatroban exerts inhibiting activities on fibrin generation, platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction by direct interacting with thrombin. Due to these activities, argatoroban is utilized as an ingredient for anticoagulant and antithrombotic. Argatroban is also used as one of positive control drugs for thrombosis model animals. (This product is for research purpose only.)
