Application
中国国内で白血病治療に用いられている薬理活性化合物，メイソインジゴ
Meisoindigo, a derivative of indirubin (Indigo red) [I0868], has been used for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in China since the 1980s. Increasing evidences have demonstrated that angiogenesis is an important pathobiological feature of CML. The anti-angiogenesis effect of meisoindigo on CML is not clear, while in vitro cell line studies have shown meisoindigo might induce apoptosis and myeloid differentiation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). (The product is for research purpose only.)
