RNA-dependent RNA Polymerase Inhibitors

RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) is a key enzyme responsible for RNA virus replication processes and catalyzes the replication of RNA from an RNA template. Because of this, RdRps are often recognized as good targets for antiviral agents.1) The following products, targeting RdRps, have attracted attention for the antiviral activity against RNA viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, seasonal and pandemic influenza viruses, and the hepatitis C virus.

N4-Hydroxycytidine (= EIDD-1931)

Favipiravir (= T-705)

T-1105

Theaflavin

Ribavirin

PSI-6206
