Prednisone is a prodrug of prednisolone [P0637] which is a synthetic adrenocortical steroid agent with predominantly glucocorticoid properties. Prednisone is also used for the treatment of a wide range of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. (The product is for research purpose only.)
