Application
Maprotiline: An Inhibitor of Norepinephrine Uptake
Maprotiline, a tetracyclic second-generation antidepressant, exhibits strong inhibitory effects on norepinephrine uptake but interferes relatively little on serotonin and dopamine reuptake. Maprotiline is metabolized by polymorphic CYP2D6 and CYP2Cl9 isoforms in the liver. (The product is for research purpose only.)
