Application
Liquiritin: A Flavonoid with Antidepressant, Neuroprotective, and Anti-Inflammatory Effects
Liquiritin, the 4'-O-glucoside of the liquiritigenin, is a flavonoid contained in Glycyrrhiza uralensis L., which is used as a sweetener and in traditional Chinese medicine. It has been reported that liquiritin shows pharmacological effects including antidepressant,1,2) neuroprotective3) and anti-Inflammatory4,5) effects. (The product is for research purpose only.)
