Application
Flupirtine Maleate: An Aminopyridine Potassium Kv7 (KCNQ) Channel Opener
Flupirtine maleate is an aminopyridine potassium Kv7 (KCNQ) channel opener. Flupirtine maleate also acts as N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist. Flupirtine maleate acts as a non-opioid centrally acting analgesic agent with muscle tone-reducing activity by reducing the excessive electrical activity that leads to pain states. (The product is for research purpose only.)
